Could my iris photo be taken when I wear contact lens?

Soft compact lenses do not cause trouble because of the fact that the cover all your iris. But because of the fact that rigid lenses are small, they are not appropriate for photo shooting. They cast a shadow on the photo. Because of the fact that your iris photo consists of small pixels of big spots, coloured lenses are not appropriate either.

What is the minimum age for iris photography?

Even if there is no “age limit” for iris photo, in terms of ensuring immotility of head and eyes during photo shooting it would be recommended persons to be at least 7-years old.

Is it risky or dangerous?

We use only scattered light in shooting your iris and this light is resembles the daylight. It is not hazardous for your eyes it will not disturb you.
However, the persons that underwent an eye surgery or that have received a medical advice to protect
their eyes against flare exposure should be cautious in having their iris photo is taken.

How do you retouch on the photos?

We pay attention to maintain your eyes’ characteristics. However, we make small changes on your iris photo in terms of removing flares occurred during photo shooting such as lightening etc.

And also, brightness and sharpness controls should be done. It is also possible to enhance your iris photo with extra retouching in terms of sharpness and deep colours if you request. You may request add more information on your iris photo like date of photo shooting and/or special messages etc.
